No update from ayr
I would imagine chaos when hot weather hits and staff have to take relief breaks on delivery

Spending an extra 30(?) mins in today's sunshine delivering double/triple mail must be totally unbearable, I'd love to see the heart meter readings from around 3 pm onwards this pm, as my outdoor thermometer which is in the direct sun has now gone off the scale, so it must be over 50c!!

Nobody is asking you to work over. Stick to your finish time and deliver at your pace.TopperGas wrote: ↑19 Jun 2025, 18:28Spending an extra 30(?) mins in today's sunshine delivering double/triple mail must be totally unbearable, I'd love to see the heart meter readings from around 3 pm onwards this pm, as my outdoor thermometer which is in the direct sun has now gone off the scale, so it must be over 50c!!

Start time finish time,if you don’t get done is it a massive problem,I was told not to have my aircon on when I was having my break,I said I will keep having it on and there is nothing you can do to stop me,it was 30 degrees

If your manager was an extreme bell end they could threaten to take you off driving for excessive idling but that would be so petty it's unbelievable considering the circumstances, one of ours challenged the manager in winter and said I'm not sitting here freezing having my break I'm leaving the engine running.
