Out of 1250 Delivery units 330 will finish before 15:00 ,468 before 15:30 and 347 before 16:00. This is based on Wednesday traffic so the highest traffic so other days will be less and there are then only 109 units up to 16:30 mostly rural who currently have a last letter of 16:30.

The joint working groups will review mail centre processing and dispatch windows to reduce this further.

Every member will know their start and finish times for their unit in advance of the Ballot.

So if the times are already known why not just publish them now, it might help this thread, just saying...

This was the old proposal list which might give an indication of how much change there will be without those times being accurate - just in relation to other offices.

So I would imagine the offices with the lower of the time s( 15:35 on that list ) will be the offices Martin says will be before 15:00 now

I seriously have to pick my 6 and 3 year old kids up by 15.30 at very latest otherwise these changes will cost me £75 per week. Is this serious enough or does it have to be seriously serious? Maybe Dave Martin and the rest can sit around a table for a serious joint working group to seriously sort this out for me. Then after 7 months of serious meetings they can hand me a 25 paragraph letter, appendix’s the full works which will advise me to speak to my manager about changes.

Vote no and you could be out on delivery until 1730 in two months.

Voting no to the deal doesn't necessarily mean you can still pick the kids up.

In theory it might be an hour later but if the wave 2 is departing the MC an hour later, it might hit bad traffic everyday so the start times in the DOs would be made later still to take into account the lorries getting caught in traffic

Was thinking about this yesterday, obviously don't want my start & finish times adjusted at all, however IF my start time was shifted an hour I think I'd end up delivering less as I'm already going to have to leave earlier in order to give myself time to re-scan items brought back for this re-delivery nonsense, but I'll need to leave even more time in order to be driving back to the office in peak traffic hours.

You'd be surprised how the difference of an hour could quite easily turn a 10-20 minute journey into a 30+ minute journey if the traffic is bad.
