I agree, we stood from day 1 and we all said we would rather smash it to pieces before we let them have their way.

We have been sold out.
Who actually said we would rather smash it to pieces.
We all did……anyone who was “staunch” anyway

TP the man himself said he would rather smash it to pieces rather than them get their way with us. And I for one agree!

because the job will not be worth doing at this rate, underpaid and overworked.

You can get a job that pays similar with no stress or preasure both mentally and physically.

or you can go work for a competitor

either way the job is barely worth it should this deal come in

Then you stood like the rest of us, it was sh*t or bust and we had no choice.
So we stood…….
& now we have been sold out….as was widely predicted on the lines…….
but we all knew if we failed then the beast had to be slain.

It was sh*t or bust and now we finish the game…..

(N.B the RM strike was one of the very last vestiges & battles of a dying unionised era, coming from another unionised industry that was toasted i never thought i’d see it again but i encountered a throwback at RM and got a second shot at it…..we all stood all 115000 of us i wa sso pround i was on the picket all night every night and they cant take that away from us. Yeah)

Cannot understand why you stood on the lines then if you knew we were going to be sold out.

Id rather take my chances with administration then accept that deal even if it meant losing my job. That deal goes through and rm get their way, first off union are dead not worth a salt, a total company union, and the job itself will be so hard both physically and mentally to do it will be not worth doing, especially for the pittance that this deal pays to do it. Might as well go work for another courier tbh.
Or stack shelves without the physical and mental stress

It made me laugh when a Nurse said she could earn more in Retail, and I support them 100%
