Walk Pick Advertising Process

There's 7 walks gone, not sure if any were vacant but let's say they weren't so how exactly should the repick be done? Those who lost walks should pick first but based on seniority, then the remaining walks just done on seniority?

No I think the displaced person rule only applies to any current vacant duties, a full repick would be open to everyone in the office as per normal rules.

If they are not vacant they are not available to be 'picked'

Vacant duties will be advertised in the office for all to see, then any displaced people get 1st pick - most senior displaced 1st then next one.

I know this because it's just happened at ours and it seems that info comes from HR too so should apply Nationwide.

Displaced staff get first pick on available duties then seniority takes over, just happened at our office and HR confirmed it ( even though duties holders are union based )

So from that, I think it is HR that I need to send my letter to.

HR informed management that this was the procedure, displaced staff get first pick obviously going on seniority then after that seniority as normal.
So I guess so.

We haven't done ours yet, but instead they've let all the walks where the duty holders have quit in the last 4-6 months (7 that I know of) become extra lapsing
