RM should just pay people exactly for the hours they work at an agreed level of productivity. if they dont work, they dont get paid, if they go home early, they dont get paid for those hours, if they work below an agreed level of productivity, pay is deducted. if they call in sick, statutory minimum applies. This was put on Workplace this morning by a Senior Manager at head office, says it all doesn’t it?

RM seems to doing as they please lately so why don't they offer new starters these types of contracts? Probably because they know it'll just encourage posties to take short cuts, customers choose RM for a good reliable service not being the cheapest and giving them the worse customer service.
