Love the reminder of how these Royal Mail corporate shysters were holed up at home while we went out and put ourselves and our families at risk during the height of the pandemic….then they creamed off the profits via bonuses… they have absolutely no sense of self awareness

Matthew Newman :UK General Counsel Royal Mail Group
and also that they haven't been through the contractual dispute resolution procedures that are in the agenda for growth and resigned in the pathway to change.
Am I correct in saying it seems RM are happy to use these agreements when it suits them and yet when it comes to things like revisions and the need for CWU input in revisions RM completely ignore the agreements.
Is that about right or am I on the wrong track?
I mean with all that's been going on with these imposed changes exactly what agreements have RM broken?
I'm not an expert in the exact details within these documents.
Thanks.
Good point. Surely then we can just refuse to work in offices where unagreed revisions and executive actions have taken place, surely? I know its probably not that simple but surely it should be, considering they can get our strikes cancelled.

CWU should be telling their legal council to pursue the continued use of agenda for growth agreements that rm ripped up
Take them on at their own game if rm can use agreement it should be recognised

Didn’t RM only throw out parts of the agreement.

I would expect that to be written far better by a 'Legal' person, I mean, sentences starting with and instead of And, not that you start sentences with and. i instead of I and what is a general legal counsel? Is that an intern?

I sense it's time Ward and co moved aside and let somebody else try and negotiate a reasonable settlement.

Over 10% of of the workforce has contacted the select committee, mostly via Darren Jones.

Our boss is a liar.

Call him out.

If true it's not bad, I doubt many people would have known they could or how to contact the select
committee without coming on here.

Good luck with that. Where do you think the money is coming from to fund that?
From the £1.7Billion war chest Royal Mail said they had to break the union . That money should be put to better use .

I can't think of another company where 10% of the workforce have whistle blown. Its actually a huge number.

No it wasn't a myth.
It was a lie Simon Thompson promoted to frighten his workforce.
A lie.

It’s a pity Royal Mail weren’t as cute when it came to sorting out a reasonable deal for us. Christmas was a disaster. It’s time they used their lawyers to good effect so we can all get back to do what we’re payed for.
