Quite happy there are no strikes for good month or two.
Get back to normality.
Hopefully the CWU and RM can actually have proper talks and maybe they will find a middle ground.
Personally, I think any deal now will be for the April lot. ST said as much last month. As we have had no deal this year (of note) it could be something like a 13/14% pay raise in April with some of the terms changed.
But we will see. I’ll continue to work through the strikes and walk past the picket. Not my union. How does that saying go, not my circus not my monkeys?
Really hope we can get a better deal for you. We’ll keep going without and keep fighting to keep the job half decent and you’ll have lost very little and still get the spoils of war.

You’ve got the game well sussed, kudos to you.
Thanks.
But I wouldn’t describe what people are doing as ‘fighting’. You are simply not going to work.
It’s like that piece I read on the bbc which said “turn off your Christmas tree lights for an hour and show solidarity with Ukraine!’
You guys would turn the tree lights off and claim you are fighting for freedom.
This solidarity and unity talk as if you are all on the western front is comical.
And this isn’t a dig at you. Just with the terms branded by picketeers which makes out they are ‘fighting’ when all they are doing is waving a flag and making noises when a car honks them.

There’s no kudos to him at all , would he be happy working in Thompsons Royal Mail if he gets his way on everything ? Of course he wouldn’t, the difference is he’s happy for others to fight that battle for him.He knows full well what he’s doing is wrong, yet he comes on here gloating trying to justify it to himself more than anyone one else .

So if your manager took you into the office and said we need you to sign up to the original terms RM were offering, separate to everyone else, you’d be willing to sign it

If I was happy with it, sure.
I’d look around and see if anywhere else offered better and had the same flexibility first.

You are Simon Thompson aren't you. You are a selfish coward. I hope your parents are proud of you, I would disown you
Filthybloke is either just a troll or more likely a manager. Best to ignore the idiot. Who else in their right mind would be proud of shitting on their workmates for the fun of it? Unless of course he's just a clown who's already very unpopular with his work mates? Does seem to be the case that he finds it hard to make friends in which case he has nothing to lose I guess?:hmmmm

Not my workmates. I don’t even consider them acquaintances. My friends know me. You don’t. So again, your opinions mean nothing to me.
Disrupt royal mail as best as they can whilst letting those who need to work overtime and their days off and a few weeks respite in-between each batch.
With Xmas out of the way, I wouldn't put it past RM to ban all OT again
Filthy....but yet you continue to antagonise people on here, presumably for the fun of it. Unless you're masking it and actually you do care? Perhaps you are a lonely, insecure individual who craves any form of interaction? Who knows or cares. But hey ho it takes all kinds. I genuinely hope you get all you need from the stuff you post and the replies you get. We both know, that really, you won't.
