DAVE ROEBUCK – FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS

Postal Branches were informed at the National Briefing on 7th February of the untimely death of Dave Roebuck, who sadly passed away at the weekend after a short illness at the age of 72.

Dave made a very special contribution to our union and will always be remembered as a unique character who was a great trade unionist and advocate of the labour movement.

We can now advise Branches that the funeral arrangements are as follows:

Date: Wednesday 21st February 2018

Time: 1 p.m.

Venue: Preston Minster, Church Street Preston His internment is at Hill Road Cemetery, Hill Road South Penwortham, Preston. A celebration of his life will be held at Grasshoppers Rugby Club, Lightfoot Lane, Fulwood, Preston.
