RAY DURKIN – FORMER NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL MEMBER OF THE CWU AND UCW (UNION OF COMMUNICATION WORKERS)
Further to LTB 290/17 which informed branches of the sad passing of Ray Durkin.
Ray's family have now decided that they will in fact have a memorial for him in Leeds on Wednesday 14th June and have asked that I pass this information on in case anybody wishes to pay their respects and attend.
The details are as follows:
The service will be held at: St Mary's Parish Church, Town Street, Beeston, Leeds, LS11 8PN at 2.00pm on Wednesday, 14 June.
From there to: Holbeck Working Man's Club, 3 Jenkinson Lawn, Holbeck, Leeds, LS11 9QX. The club is 1.5 miles from the church.
The church is less than 1/2 a mile from the Elland Road football stadium which is signposted from all motorways.
