Tony Richards – Funeral Arrangements


I am sorry to announce that Tony Richards passed away yesterday afternoon after suffering with Cancer for some time.


As a National Honorary Member, ex Standing Orders Committee member, Regional Secretary LRC, and Territorial Counters Rep, Tony would still be know to many within the CWU community although he retired in about 2000.


The details of Tony’s funeral are as follows:

The family has requested only flowers from immediate family, but would ask for donations to go to St Raphael’s Hospice and mark in tribute to Anthony Brian Richards (envelopes will be available on the day).

Due to the numbers anticipated to attend, I have been asked to advise you that there may not be enough room at the Crematorium to seat everybody, however arrangement have been made for a speakers system to be set up so that everybody can hear the service.

So that the family can get an estimate of numbers, could anybody who is attending please let me know on iward@cwu.org and I will forward the information onto the family
