Royal Mail Dispute - Polling


An exit poll is currently in process. This is measuring both the potential yes/no vote and the effectiveness of the union's communications.


Over the next few days, the Postal Executive will be 'cold-calling' members to remind people to vote and to encourage more yes votes.


If branches receive any enquiries about these calls, you can assure them that they are on behalf of the union and with relation to the poll, answers are treated anonymously.

But how do we know that it is from the union and not any managers if in doubt don't tell anything to anyone over the phone this goes for life in general.

It would be helpful to hold meetings both inside and outside of work time hours to encourage a yes vote.
