Dear Colleague,

Colleagueshare

It has been confirmed by Royal Mail that employees in all Royal Mail Group businesses will receive the £400 colleagueshare dividend as a result of both the group wide and individual business targets being met. We understand that, subject to final audits being completed, the intention is to make the payment at the end of May.

Got my letter today from Messrs Crozier and Higson confirming that payment will be made on Fri 29th May 2009.

Ditto - also another utterance of ow bad they expect the coming year to be and how we all have to knuckle down, and not be be too disappointed when colleague shares value drops (as if we did not expect that before you can sell them)

The not so hidden message being that we wont be getting a pay rise this year.


NB: Only those that started before Apr 2008 according to the letter are eligible for the shares/bonus/dividend. :evil/mad
