Basic pay is for this week as we don't work a week in hand. Overtime is for the week before so the rise was due on basic but not overtime.

Eh? Is this for real? What have pda actuals got to do with back pay/pay increase? Or do you mean that payroll have been instructed not to award back pay until the CWU agree the specifics relating to use of pda actuals? I thought the agreement was pretty clear in this respect. Oh well another day no nearer to knowing it seems. :arrrghhh

I understand your feelings towards what you describe as "money grabbers" but do you also include those who are about to retire/resign(such as myself). Or do you feel that I, and others in the same situation, deserve sweet fa? Why should I not "grab" this back pay before I retire (which is now owed so long as I am still on the payroll)?

bet you voted yes knowing it wont be your problem . You will get your full pension, me and countless other 1000"S wont.

How on earth are reps in the know and yet we are not? We only got the LTB from Tel yesterday.

Like you I suspect and hope this is a load of B/S.

Has there been any official statement from Royal Mail that they have actually accepted the result of the vote?
After all only 51% voted and 9% of those voted no. Hardly an endorsement for a lasting agreement.
