LTB 563/13 CWU Opposition to WCM

Been off for a few days but I heard today that they're looking for 5 more work place coaches, linked in some way to WCM. That would be a total of 8 WPCs but WCM has never been mentioned in our office before so is this a new strategy.

As part of WCM they are looking to get a WPC:staff ratio of 25:1, the idea is that WPCs are used as part of WCM to coach staff who are making mistakes such as misdelivery, not filling out P739s properly, not doing redirections correctly etc

25-1 - Hmm sounds like a Line Manager in all but name - is Moya setting up WPC to become Formen after privatisation. Cheaper than Lineos and Managers,

I think you are spot on philthy because coincidentally that ratio was also mentioned but I'd forgotten that. It must only have been on WTL this week, which I missed, actually I miss them all. I was outside waiting for the conveyance lorry when one of the blokes came to tell me about it. However being the first day back this week I didn't have time to get any more information.

well had a work time learning again about wcm 30 dam min with some type of manager thats is doing the wcm in our office he did not seam to have a clue what he was on about.
only one that seamed to find it good was the one person that has gone for wcm leader thing big smile on there face about it.
did ask about cwu saying have nothing to do with wcm but they say our rep is talking about things with them so no clue whats going on
