I think that would be a waste of their time.
Posties seem to be, by their very nature, unhappy in whatever environment they find themselves.
Whatever the situation you can bet your bottom dollar the majority will be unhappy. Always.
Yes i would think the majority would not be happy about risking there lives. And the lives of there families.

Maybe the comments on here should be sent to Terry etc - he needs to know that many of the members are really pissed off both with management AND union.

Personally I do not care for this 'national Day' and a pat on the back, thumbs up. What I would like is to have safer working conditions, not be expected to do 5-6 hours delivery every day, day in day out delivering 'essential items' like bloody bird tables, fence paint and parasols whilst also having to deliver pizza leaflets etc. Also to have a reasonable wage for my efforts. Is that too much to ask?

Union hierarachy are too obsessed with publicity.

Will this be a National Postal Workers Day for the solo duties at our office that are plodding along much as ever, but with a few extra packets.

Or will it be a National Postal Workers Day for the van share duties at our office who are having to cope with extra packets, walking or busing out and/or back from the duties - with the driver finishing solo as the walker as to finish 30 minutes early.

Not saying every office is like that, but ours now has two levels of workforce.
Royal Mail
failing the workforce, failing the public and deliberately failing mail on a daily basis for too many years.
