Probably a double saving, less drivers needed so they save on driver and shift allowances and potentially no early shift staff needed for sequencing or walk sort so they save on TPM allowances there.97gaz wrote:That's not the story at my place. The CSS removals are probably from MPUs with some getting relocated to MCs (that is if they've got the room) and some getting mothballed.
I've not heard anything yet as to what changes to arrivals into MCs on night shifts will be made (if any) with Network 19 but if they push arrivals into MCs later then dispatches to DOs will have to be pushed back later by the same amount
