It has been suggested that Brazil has 3 main problems with their football team.
1. The move away from kids from the slums being able to make it.
2. The over reliance on Premier League has-beens and never-weres.
3. Most importantly - the rise of the neopentecostal church. Whereas the Catholic church placed an emphasis on community, the Pentecostal church favours individualism and this has seeped into the Brazil national team. fundamentally weakening them.
