Milly- so Reform and Farage and the majority of Reform voters and supporters are not racists?

Once again you've been caught out posting something illogical and then (rather than explain why you've posted it) you've come back with something else.
The question remains: how do you raise wages?

I’ve already answered that. You might not like the answer, but it’s still the answer.
’You can't just ask customers what they want and then try to give that to them. By the time you get it built, they'll want something new.’

Learn to read. Record profits are being reported, not merely profits. Supermarkets are using inflation as an excuse to make more money. Sure, you could argue it is capitalism but that doesn’t make it right.Bounced_Czech wrote: ↑30 Jun 2024, 13:30You do realise that Capitalism demands year on year profits or it's a failure right? Radical idea I know. But that is the foundation of it.
Why do you think the government have sold off all the utilities and services in the UK to foreign investors for a one off bung?
Because, like you consistently point out, private companies need to make a profit.
Also, any chance of shortening your witty replies on here? I'm sure the mods are fed up with you just copy/pasting 20/30 reply conversations
Also, if you are going to re-register on this site after being banned, it might be worth waiting a while before targeting me again with your weird stalker energy. You have only a handful of posts and already you have fixated on me, even going as far as trying to find out where I have my break on duty, which is beyond creepy.

Re: A Royal Mail postman has been caught writing 'racists' on Reform UK leaflets
Half a century ago Labour were committed to introducing an annual wealth tax to help pay for a proposed increase in pensions, a new child benefit and reductions in public housing rents. One of the reasons why I believe it failed is because the Chancellor at the time (Denis Healey) put it to a Select Committee and all this did was delay and obfuscate matters. On top of this there was an oil price spike and an inflation crisis in the mid 70s. It is well known that the UK has a long standing and deep affinity with property and applying a wealth tax to it generates really strong opposition among key sectors of the voting population. The Tories unsurprisingly have always been dead set against any such tax. Our society has been captured by the super-rich who exert outsized political influence and can shield their cash from taxation.
This is Rachel Reeves view on the wealth tax. She believes that overall living standards for ordinary working people will only be increased with a strong, growing economy. In other words, they are just the same as the Tory party.

It is the same in Europe as over a dozen countries used to have wealth taxes but nearly all of them have repealed them with the exception of Norway, Spain and Switzerland and in a limited way (on real estate) Belgium and France.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

You haven't answered any of my questions at all, you're doing is deflecting waffling whataboutry.LouBarlow wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 19:15
I’ve answered the question multiple times now. You seem to not believe that these answers are possible, because you are terrified of upsetting the rich people that you think you are somehow relevant to and believe you can aspire to become.
I apologise for not responding sooner, as apparently working on a Saturday is exclusive to me, but I have enjoyed watching the racist reform party real-time meltdown today. Farage has been forced to drop the more extreme racists in his party, and has cancelled his BBC interviews tomorrow. It is always amusing to see how those on the furthest right of the political spectrum are the biggest ‘snowflakes’ of all.

You can keep saying it but it doesn’t make it true. Every time I’ve answered your questions, you say it can’t be done, because it will upset the rich people too much. The irony of a reform defender claiming whataboutry when the manifesto of the racist party they are supporting could be written on the back of a fag packet, so devoid of actual solutions it is.NWpostie wrote: ↑30 Jun 2024, 19:16You haven't answered any of my questions at all, you're doing is deflecting waffling whataboutry.LouBarlow wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 19:15

You might not like the answers but that doesn’t mean answers haven’t been given. If it is a racist party why is Zia Yusef their biggest donor?LouBarlow wrote: ↑30 Jun 2024, 19:42You can keep saying it but it doesn’t make it true. A Reform candidate has just disowned the party and defected to the Conservatives because of Reform’s “Racism and sexism” problem.milly wrote: ↑30 Jun 2024, 20:11If it is a racist party why is Zia Yusef their biggest donor?LouBarlow wrote: ↑30 Jun 2024, 19:42You can keep saying it but it doesn’t make it true.
