They have been caught out numerous times with their audience plants.mjd24 wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 15:32F**k me so that means he was paid by someone to ask Farage a difficult question?
Have you ever noticed how both sides constantly accuse the BBC of bias? Does that not suggest to you that maybe theyre actually quite balanced?
And to suggest theyre biased against Farage . . . the guy is literally on the BBC every week and never properly questioned or held to account like he should be for the nonsense and lies be spouts.
The BBC guy is perfectly entitled to ask questions so long as he declares that he has previously been employed by the BBC and that he is asking his own question and not a question posed by the BBC.

So if there hadn’t been some bloke in the audience who maybe worked for the BBC, Farage might have been able to answer the question as to how he planned to dump humans on beaches in France?
The Green Partly co-leader came across very well. Clear answers. The only problem the Greens have, is that they have never been faced with the grim reality of trying to implement your policy dreams as the government of the UK.

As for the Green Party leader, he was utterly clueless.
He had no idea how they were going to scrap millions of cars and replace them with EV's.

As for EVs: the answer to that is to let China flood the UK car market with their incredibly cheap EVs. But no politician of any persuasion wants to admit that that is how to do it because of what it would do to car production here.

Its strange that the EU believes so much in climate change that it puts massive tariffs on Chinese EV's.Barnacle wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 16:39Farage still couldn’t answer the question of how he planned to dump humans on French beaches.milly wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 16:22The was no maybe about the guy working for the BBC, he states this on his own website.Barnacle wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 16:04So if there hadn’t been some bloke in the audience who maybe worked for the BBC, Farage might have been able to answer the question as to how he planned to dump humans on beaches in France?

It’s not because they’re not bothered about climate change, it’s because of the impact cheap Chinese EVs will have on all the massive car manufacturers based within the EU who can’t compete with China on price.milly wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 16:43Its strange that the EU believes so much in climate change that it puts massive tariffs on Chinese EV's.Barnacle wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 16:39Farage still couldn’t answer the question of how he planned to dump humans on French beaches.milly wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 16:22The was no maybe about the guy working for the BBC, he states this on his own website.Barnacle wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 16:04So if there hadn’t been some bloke in the audience who maybe worked for the BBC, Farage might have been able to answer the question as to how he planned to dump humans on beaches in France?

We are facing global boiling and they would rather prioritise European car manufacturers over an extinction level event?Barnacle wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 16:49It’s not because they’re not bothered about climate change, it’s because of the impact cheap Chinese EVs will have on all the massive car manufacturers based within the EU who can’t compete with China on price.milly wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 16:43Its strange that the EU believes so much in climate change that it puts massive tariffs on Chinese EV's.Barnacle wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 16:39Farage still couldn’t answer the question of how he planned to dump humans on French beaches.milly wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 16:22The was no maybe about the guy working for the BBC, he states this on his own website.Barnacle wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 16:04So if there hadn’t been some bloke in the audience who maybe worked for the BBC, Farage might have been able to answer the question as to how he planned to dump humans on beaches in France?

Or more likely climate change is total bollocks and just a way of extracting tax and controlling the population.

What sort of answer would that be? We already know China is exploiting vast areas of Africa in it's search for rare earth elements for EV batteries, and yet the Left's answer would be allow them to flood the market?
How long would their "incredibly cheap" EV's remain "incredibly cheap" when they (Chinese) have the market sewn up?
Seems like those Left-leaners can't even get their many and various crackpot schemes to align, let alone sell them to Joe Public.

The EV answer was to the question of how to get everyone using EVs.Tman wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 17:58What sort of answer would that be? The fact that EVs are still an issue when it comes to batteries and scrapping/recycling isn’t what was being discussed.

EV's have to be as cheap and convenient as ICE vehicles otherwise nobody will want them.Barnacle wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 18:07The EV answer was to the question of how to get everyone using EVs.Tman wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 17:58What sort of answer would that be? There's no point trying to replace things that work with inferior and expensive products.
The same goes for heat pumps and solar.

I’ve answered the question multiple times now. You seem to not believe that these answers are possible, because you are terrified of upsetting the rich people that you think you are somehow relevant to and believe you can aspire to become.NWpostie wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 06:57LouBarlow wrote: ↑29 Jun 2024, 05:48The problem you are having is you approach every issue from the wrong angle. It is understandable though - as I said, you have been conditioned by all the rich media, to only think of rich people when it comes to solving problems. “Oh no, what will the poor landlords do?”, oh no what will those poor London-based property investors do?”. They want you to think these problems are unsolvable, because it benefits them. It is working, as I mentioned before, because you continue to think poor people are the problem and not them, which is why you repeat the mantra you are being fed.NWpostie wrote: ↑28 Jun 2024, 22:24You're coming across like deranged fanatic, you haven't read my links at all, your response can't be taken seriously.LouBarlow wrote: ↑28 Jun 2024, 20:29
Blaming immigrants for everything now. The Daily Mail has a lot to answer for. You’ve been played for a fool. Conditioned by the media to punch down at those worse off than you rather than up at the people milking the country dry. You have more in common with the poor sods coming across on boats than you do with the wealthy.
How do you propose go about it ? Are you intending to seize private property without compensation ? How will the compensation money be funded ? 80,000 houses won't even touch the sides, not all of these properties are habitable, they're also somebody else's homes not yours to give away,
I said it before, 4.3 million new homes are needed to accomodate everybody today at current levels which is likely to go up even higher by the time they're built, if ever.
How do you propose to raise their wages ? Who's wages ? How will it be funded ? How do you enforce lower mortgages ? Why do immigrants have to get a foot on the ladder before young British people ?LouBarlow wrote: ↑28 Jun 2024, 20:29Then we can have fixed rent agreements with landlords so rent is affordable. Get rid of no fault evictions. Then we can make homes easier to buy for young people by raising their wages and making mortgages actually affordable. Even immigrants could get a foot on the ladder.
What if landlords refuse to accept rent capping and withdraw their property from the rental market reducing stocks in the market even further pushing up the rent, what if all landlords decides it's not worth it anymore and withdraw completely from the market ? Houses would still be unaffordable even if they sell it or refuse to sell it because of capital gains tax implications and acute housing shortages.
Or is it a case of more "Starmerism", all style ,no substance ?
The penny will drop for you one day hopefully.
You're not answering the question, you're hiding behind Whataboutry, Corbynisms and Starmerism
I apologise for not responding sooner, as apparently working on a Saturday is exclusive to me, but I have enjoyed watching the racist reform party real-time meltdown today. Farage has been forced to drop the more extreme racists in his party, and has cancelled his BBC interviews tomorrow. It is always amusing to see how those on the furthest right of the political spectrum are the biggest ‘snowflakes’ of all.
