Royal Mail's official twitter has been pumping out the PR, merrily praising posties for fancy dress, delivering food etc.
But in at least 4 of the pics they've put out today there are posties crowded together, nowhere near 2m apart. Published on the official company account ffs. Brazen.
Our employer know this is happening, and see nothing wrong with it because they do. Not. Give. A. F***. About us.

I think if we still had the monopoly on parcels and mail we would have shut down by now. Royal Mail could have just said Essentials only such as prescriptions and food deliveries for the vulnerable (cant do this as our vans are full of packets).
But Royal Mail are too scared about losing contracts and customers to Hermes, yodel, DPD ECT
Oh what could have been...

If you look closely a couple of photos include a cardboard cut out of PeterCrouch. However the posties delivering food is a disgrace!

Goes to show what head office think of us though. Cannon fodder for their corporate PR.
Got to be a legal angle into this, can't CWU get their crack team of Lionel Hutz onto it or summat?

What about the posties standing within 2m of each other? Without looking at the pics and going of what you said they don't give a f**k either. Everyone knows the rules. Either work by them or don't. We're all grown up adults now and don't need to be constantly told what to do and what not to do. I highly doubt they were forced to stand that close to one another.sindba wrote:Royal Mail's official twitter has been pumping out the PR, merrily praising posties for fancy dress, delivering food etc.

But the fact that Royal Mail chose to use these pics for their PR on their official social media says a lot about their attitude.
We all know the "turn a blind eye" attitude has been fed down locally too. Managers don't observe distancing and don't enforce it. Just "get the mail out", to hell with the consequences.
