privileges committee re Johnson lier or denier?
A lot of people in this nation demand answers to the question of his integrity and thus far he has avoided all questions on it. But while tens of thousands were handed fines during the very same times this man he broke the law. Now some may say it was only once or he did not knowingly do so and some say he was under pressure. The very fact is he did so and the law says ignorance is not a defence nor is the times once is enough. But then misleading the house of commons : https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-64836425 well can only conclude from this that high office has hit rock bottom!

It would seem that one can lie freely to any parliamentary committee.
No consequence.

Johnson is an utter buffoon for which honesty and integrity are alien creatures.
It wasn’t that he was unaware of the rules or gave any thought to whether he was breaking them. It was that he didn’t care. He was going to carry on doing what he wanted.

The reason he ignored the rules (along with G20 and other world leaders) is because they knew covid wasn’t as deadly as they were making out it was.

Maybe ask why care Home residents with Covid who were struggling to breathe were given Midazolam a Benzodiazepine drug that is used for end of life care and slows down breathing.Barnacle wrote: ↑04 Mar 2023, 09:59Tell that to the relatives of those who died.FilthyBloke wrote: ↑04 Mar 2023, 09:58The reason he ignored the rules (along with G20 and other world leaders) is because they knew covid wasn’t as deadly as they were making out it was.
I doubt slowing down someone's breathing when they are struggling to breathe is a good idea.
There is no doubt in my mind these treatment protocols made Covid look far worse than it really was and got the death count up considerably.
Another fun fact about Midazolam is that it's also used for executions in the United States and Matt Hancock ordered loads of it in March 2020.

I didn’t say nobody died, I said they made out it was worse than it was.Barnacle wrote: ↑04 Mar 2023, 09:59Tell that to the relatives of those who died.FilthyBloke wrote: ↑04 Mar 2023, 09:58The reason he ignored the rules (along with G20 and other world leaders) is because they knew covid wasn’t as deadly as they were making out it was.

Which Is also interesting because a lot of the deaths in the first wave came from care homes.milly wrote: ↑04 Mar 2023, 10:18Maybe ask why care Home residents with Covid who were struggling to breathe were given Midazolam a Benzodiazepine drug that is used for end of life care and slows down breathing.Barnacle wrote: ↑04 Mar 2023, 09:59Tell that to the relatives of those who died.FilthyBloke wrote: ↑04 Mar 2023, 09:58The reason he ignored the rules (along with G20 and other world leaders) is because they knew covid wasn’t as deadly as they were making out it was.

Another extremely expensive, useless and lethal drug used on Covid patients was Remdesivir.
The treatments were more dangerous than the disease.

Anyone who denies covid and the misery it called is somebody whose sole aim in life is to spread discord, animosity and sadness. I am not religious but I believe very strongly that when the time comes everybody will be held to account for their words and actions. I'm glad I'm not BJ.

It’s called looking at the evidence. Covid was not a threat to most people.timbo1234 wrote: ↑04 Mar 2023, 10:41Anyone who denies covid and the misery it called is somebody whose sole aim in life is to spread discord, animosity and sadness. They hate the Tories and don't trust them at all unless it's to do with Covid "treatments" then they trust them 100%.
You are correct that it wasn't a threat to most people considering the average age of death was 82.4 years of age.

If covid was not a threat, deaths were exaggerated, no dodgy ppe contracts for Tory supporters, why is there an enquiry? I suppose you think that is a waste of time.milly wrote: ↑04 Mar 2023, 11:20It's like banging your head against the wall trying to reason with people who suffer from cognitive dissonance.FilthyBloke wrote: ↑04 Mar 2023, 11:11It’s called looking at the evidence. Re: privileges committee re Johnson lier or denier?
Let's get back on track here BJ did lie and did ultimately get fired by his own mp's because he covered up allegations of sexual misconduct by one of his cabinet ministers. But his lack of integrity that wa his undoing it is in this speech by Sajid Javid that he called it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hiik24wRUpc Now it is not normally I praise a conservative.
But lack of integrity is not just confined to the house of commons it is also in our business community and the top of our royal mail if you don't command the confidence of your team as Sajid Javid says you must go and go now!

Yes I'm sure any inquiry will be a waste of time and there were plenty of dodgy contracts for Tory supporters, I assume a few of them will be thrown under the Bus to pacify the public.timbo1234 wrote: ↑04 Mar 2023, 16:28If covid was not a threat, deaths were exaggerated, no dodgy ppe contracts for Tory supporters, why is there an enquiry? Do you think that an inquiry will look into Rishi Sunak's Hedge Fund investing $500,000,000 in Moderna whilst he was Chancellor?
Must be a coincidence that Moderna a company that had never previously brought a successful drug to market got their Jab approved by the UK Government.
The Government have also granted approval for Moderna to built a new facility in the UK to produce more of their dangerous products.
