I had a covid test positive on tuesday ,worked monday , my day off was thursday , been told im due back monday? so off tues to sat five days counting what would have been my day off , is this right ?

Phone in saying you are fit to return to work on Monday on the Saturday and it will be 5 days off if you aren't scheduled to work Sunday. If you don't phone in to say you are fit to return to work then Sunday will be counted as well without a doctors note you will have to return to work on Tuesday and then it would be 7 days

It is subjective but 7 day doctors note and how you feel but don't go to the doctors phone them for a sick note and all the best get well soon.

7, you can go on the gov website and get a self-certified Covid note for absences longer than 7 days.
Completely unchecked too, seems ripe for abuse, but I suppose it saves doctors actual time dealing with it.
