Are these now optional ? I chose not to wear one today and my boss told me i should still wear one as Covid hasn't gone away ( Which i clearly know ) But i thought it was my choice to wear one or not , Have Royal mail said anything ?

It's not mandatory but advisable ,maybe RM have finally realised that prevention is the way forward as a person may be reinfected within 3 months.

If that was the case, we wouldn’t have to resume asking people to sign on our PDA’s.

I am pretty much the only onr in our place that wears one. RM doesn't normally give a toss about COVID now, so at least your dom has some sense.

I`m a carer for my vulnerable dad , so I wear one in the office, in the van and on the doorstep.

Well done you it will help you stopping passing it on should you have the virus. Sadly doesn't stop you from catching it

An FFP3 mask does prevent infection ,these are worn on the Covid hospital wards.
