Nothing 'official' regarding unvaccinated peeps yet.
Local management could use the below as an excuse to bust you, which is part of the sick pay policy...
If you ignore a doctors advice or you're sick due to reasons within your control, or you don’t cooperate with Royal Mail, sick pay may be refused.
Refusing vaccination without a genuine medical reason could possibly fall under "reasons within your control".

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

1 Million% no at the moment.
As for stage warnings, this still holds the field...
We would expect the vast majority of coronavirus absences to be discounted from the normal attendance procedure.

There are people who can get the jab but are part of international Control Group covid jab study where you commit to remain unvaccinated for the duration of study (up to 15-20years). The placebo group for jab trials no longer exist to compare the data therefore lots of people are part of this study to fill the gap in clinical trials. I wonder what there position would be regarding employment/sickness policy?

Would 'probably' come under medical exemptions as to not have the jab.

How to apply for official proof that, for medical reasons, you're unable to be vaccinated or unable to be vaccinated and tested for coronavirus (COVID-19)...

What about religious belief’s?
Are you big on religious persecution too?

Depending what religion:) if it is from catholic point of view, RM will quote Pope Francis full support and recommendations for the jab. He implements Vatican own mandates so don’t count on it:)

The 3 jabs I have had will not stop me from getting or transmitting the virus or being ill what it does do is stopping hospital admission by 75% and death by 95%. Where as a mask has no impact on this figure. As to the policy on this who knows don't even think they do at the moment!

So presumably, if you have time off for flu, but haven’t had (“refused”) to have your flu jab, they could similarly not pay you sick pay?
Be careful what you wish for…

I spoke to some of the smokers in our office who already been off for long time with pneumonia, chest infections etc. I said would you agree for RM not to pay you your full sick pay if you go off sick with smoking related problems next time. They told me to f** off and mind my own business as they always smoked and it is part of their lifestyle..and RM not paying for their time off would be in breach of the employment contract:)
