We're not.
Why are you?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

As I said in the email to you...

Yes they have changed, they have changed to As per the link above.

You should not be doing 9am and 1pm anyway as that changed months ago at the start of the pandemic.
See this link about that...

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Our office has recently gone back to the regular delivery times (9am and 1pm) just like your office is doing now, daveallan333. So it's not true that the temporarily delayed times (11am and 4pm) applies to all offices across the country.

Our office and indeed as I understand, our whole area are still insisting we honour the normal times. I kicked off about it with my manager and the union rep and got shouted down by both!

I had 7 x 1pm yesterday & was told we now have until 4pm to deliver them, so I saved them all until last, to test the water, 1:45 to 2:10 not one person in, 739ed all of them & brought them back :Applause

The new times apply to our office. I still try to get them delivered before 1pm though if possible. We have been advised that since the rule change with signing for items that we can print the name on the SD and sign XPI then post through the letter box if it fits. Had no problems so far but may not be the same nationwide.

I asked my manager if the times had changed and she said nope, that it was nonsense and not to trust the royal mail website. I delivered two specials after 1pm to see if it flags up. Either gonna prove her wrong and delight in telling the rest of the office or get seriously shafted :hmmmm

The system will have been flagging them up anyway ever since the covid situation came in, unless RM had the times changed in the programming code of the system
