What to do if wife is having covid test

Do I self isolate if wife and kids are getting covid test. They are all coughing, not consistently. Also all have sore throats. Do I get sick pay while waiting on their results. Should I get tested too?

All should be tested in the household. Stay off till results are sent to you by text. When our household had the test i was off for 3 days. Manager imputs into the computer as covid related. I got paid and it does not count towards sick record i believe.

Self isolate until they get the result.
If they show positive then their is a good chance you have it too and should get tested
You may be asymptomatic.

Results turnaround is fairly fast.
