If that's true, could we see many items that would normally be sent by PF entering RM's network instead as Tracked?

So Amazon, DPD, Hermes, Yodel and others. They all going in lock down too? We seem to be getting a lot of spurious rumours on RMC at the moment....

I suspect you are classed as keyworkers. And also people you are forgetting that the current lockdown does not prevent businesses from posting parcels and letters as normal. Non essential retail shops have been closed not non essential business, so for example waterstones shops are closed but their online business is still running posting books.

Delivery drivers are key workers.
If PF were to lock down it wouldn't be because of key worker status it would be because they needed the assets (vans and drivers) elsewhere. When your core network is struggling for vans and drivers you don't send vans and drivers home.

It's unlikely but the government could use PF facilities for food and medical supplies. I doubt anything is off the table at the moment.

Truth.

Passengers do 30 minutes less work a day and have much less responsibility. No chance of a passenger running someone over or crashing the van into a wall. They just sit there for around 30 minutes a day and can go on their phone, eat a donut and drink a coffee.

Drivers should be paid more, they should even demand it. How about a 12% pay rise for drivers and 6% for passengers.

But we have to listen to the driver moaning about all their extra responsibilities.
Driver 2%. Passenger 10%.
