if you needed to see a GP in person because your doctor thought you may have serious health problem, but there was a strict mask wearing policy in place, would you wear one?

Are they providing the face shield? I won't have a problem wearing one of them in the office.

We have been told nothing about masks in the office, distancing has gone.

If our depot gets a huge influx of coronavirus cases they can then say that it was down to their own workers not socially distancing nor were they wearing facemasks.

Royal Mail will be completely absolved of any corporate responsibility because:

1. they have told you that you need to be socially distanced and
2. they have provided a few facemasks and they have left it up to you to wear.

Its strange how facemasks are like lazzy bands though and the minute the come in some noob nicks them all and they are gone

Trouble is that there are too many thoughtless inconsiderate feckless c***s who will just NOT keep out of your personal space if it enables them to get out on their walk a few minutes earlier. Dom had a word with everyone last week, maybe the odd one or two took notice for the whole day but it was business as usual the next.

A&E doctor told me that masks are useless, he didn't qualify that statement with any reasons though.

Your mask will drastically reduce any respiratory droplets being emitted from you into the area around you, mine will reduce the amount that I inhale but somewhat less than drastically. The greater the distance between us the lesser the chance of transmission. The fewer contaminated droplets the smaller the chance of ingestion leading to infection. Studies so far have shown that lower viral load does not necessarily lead to less severe symptoms with coronavirus which is in marked contrast to influenza, sars and mers .

Don't be a c***, please wear a 5G Bill Gates Reptilian sponsored face prison until more is known. We may not rremember everyone who wears a mask but I can guarantee I will remember thise c***s who could but wouldn't.

This is mental.

The company needs to enforce wearing of face coverings indoors. Now.

It doesn't make us safe. But it does makes us safer. Bloody do it

hear hear.

the company need to make it official policy for indoor working immediately.

surely, as long as contracted hours are fulfilled, turf all the dissenters/you-cant-make-me's out into the afternoon shifts, if you've got kids, care priorities etc, early shift.

the rest of the people who just want to finish early and go home and put their feet up and have no responsibilities should be put on a different shift.

they can whine all they want but the safety of their colleagues is potentially at stake.

my d/o is in a covid hotspot and if those silly post-truth fucknuggets wanna play roulette with mail integrity they should be made to answer for it.

Amazon has made mask wearing compulsory in its fulfilment centres since lockdown started after it had a couple of early outbreaks, exemption requires medical evidence. No mask-no work.

Masks, gloves, sanitiser all available from the kick off. Doubled their cleaning staff and have dedicated touch point cleaners who just go round the whole place constantly cleaning contact surfaces.

They may be s**t to work for but they make us look like a bunch of amateurs.

Terrian theory was completely debunked as pseudo scientific bunkum even in the time of it's creator the crackpot Antoine Béchamp but as I've already pointed out I'm sure there's something hazy and just out of reach of explanation that I'm not getting.

Germ theory deniers, climate change deniers, holocaust deniers always have something up their sleeve that 'no-one gets' when everything else gets debunked and a dark conspiracy backing it up.

I can already feel yours oozing out of the cracks, I take it "big pharma" has all the important scientists in their pay only leaving those "quirky" free thinkers to champion the cause of terrian theory... am I right?
No, I don't believe that you're right but you are entitled to form your own opinion.
For the record, I'm not a climate change or holocaust denier.
Bechamp was a Proffessor and scientist and if you believe that he was a crackpot and got things so wrong surely you have to consider that other scientists could also get things wrong.

One scientist can always get things wrong, 200 years of peer review confirmation research by thousands of scientists can't.

Well i Learnt something new today so thanks.

Looking into it it seems that Terrain theory is supported by Alternative Medicine and Natural Medicine proponents. Whilst the clinical and traditional medical establishment seem to prefer the more accepted Germ Theory.

Obviously which side of the debate you fall is up to you, but think your opinions through critically, not just the differing ones. However, I do prefer to defer to the people who study medicine for longer, who are acknowledged experts in their field, have appropriate qualifications from reputable establishments, and who when they postulate a theory get it peer reviewed by opposing medical opinions.

Its right to question opinions of the majority, even scientists. But its wrong to not critically think through your own opinions at the same time.

From the beginning of the covid scare I felt that something was wrong with the way that it was being reported. This led me to start looking into what was really going on. I have watched endless video's and read the findings of various scientists. My opinions are not based on scare stories or conspiracy theories.
I think that it's possible that science may have disregarded terrain theory too swiftly. I don't know for sure and can only base my opinions on my life experiences.
I may just be lucky up until now and have never had a serious illness despite not using medicines or vaccines.
