If I am not infected / no symptoms why should I wear a mask
Mr mcwitty the government advisor says this on sky news above
Yes on the 4th of March

We now know that nobody knows if they have the virus until they get tested - you can have no symptoms
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

Very convenient that the virus can have not even the slightest symptom for one person but can kill another.

Do you feel the same way about cancer as people can have that and not know but it can kill others?

Just grow up and wear a mask. If this whole thing ends up being an over reaction then the very worse thing that will happen to you would be that you were made to wear a mask. THATS IT!

If it does help reduce transmission then you are potentially saving lives. There really shouldn’t be any contest.

(It goes without saying if you are medically exempt you shouldn’t)

It's like GOVT rules for stuff, it's that urgent to shut the country down......but we'll give it a few more days first. Regards masks for royal mail indoors, it was always gonna come, surprised it took this long. Everyone knows we're not working at 2 metres distance so masks we're inevitable.

I really hope this isn't true. I can spend up to 3 hrs in the office in the mornings and I won't be wearing a mask for that long. I'm actually glad that I'm part time because I will able to revert to my contracted hours.

We were told today that they are compulsory from Monday. Not mandatory, compulsory.
I’m exempt and am not legally required to provide any evidence when on public transport, and there’s no way random Royal Mail managers or indeed colleagues should be allowed to enquire into my medical history !!!
No update on the myroyalmail site

Mandatory and compulsory are the same thing aren't they? :hmmmm Either way, you can easily just get an exemption form if you cant wear one. You don't have to disclose your medical history.
