Tabletop revision resign

Post by Coffee lover »

Our manager told us Saturday about our revisions, but he said there is no resign is this right as we have people on rounds who’ve only been there 5 minutes yet others more senior doing floating! We have never had a resign and it looks like we never will, we have no rep and manager just says he will put lapsing on our frames as part of revision but no resign as most people are happy with what they our doing! Surely we should be able to move if we are more senior?

What % of duties have had significant changes? I think the threshold is 30% to trigger a resign but those whose duties haven't changed can take their duties out of the pot

Well all of them will be changing as such because current lapsing will be going in to peoples frames and some walks will have new lapsing round (as they are lapsing another walk!) added to there frame so all will be changing from current size as we are losing a total of 5 walks out of 45. Not sure what significant change that is

On the table top revisions a resign is going to have to be a pragmatic discussion.

Why ? Out of the 880 offices in the table top revisions:

304 offices have move work hours after their improvement in productivity then they did in 2019 reference period.

299 have between 1 hour and 50 hours less after their improvement in productivity then in 2019.

150 offices have between 51-100 hours less after their productivity improvement then in 2019.

The remaining 127 offices are a mixture of the bigger offices with between 4000 and 8000 work hours which will always mean higher reductions and those office who have been impacted by the governments work from home policy which means their traffic is less then it was in 2019. These offices will be in central offices , universities areas and those offices who serve airports.

How is any of this got anything to do with whether there's a resign or not?
Resigns are triggered by a specific level of change in an office.
There isn't any need for pragmatism, it's either triggered or it's not.

That makes no sense what triggers a resign, being pragmatic is not an option surely

Resigns are triggered by major change under a table top revision very few offices will experience major change.

Whereas if your doing a structural revision all offices will see major change to duties.

just ask what deliveries have toilet and welfare facilities
you need facilities built into your duty that will force major change
watch them squirm
