Covid hours and WIPH
We have had new development in our office only 400 calls or so but it's generated a lot of tracked 24 and 48 on top of the usual packets , this work should push up our efficiency as it's at no cost , but we are also paying out 3 hours a day prestarts for covid reasons , shouldn't these hours be excluded when calculating the work load figure , that is items divided by the hours used ?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Covid hours and WIPH
When you plan your offices table top revision you will plan your work hours and any improvement on normal working without COVID.
If you still need to have the pre starts to maintain social distancing etc these will classed as additional hours over and above your targeted work hours. Of course if the government lift such of the restrictions you may no longer need those pre starts in any case.
