LTB 092/20 – CURRENT DISPUTE
No. 92/20

26th February 2020

Dear Colleague,

CURRENT DISPUTE

Please find attached a letter sent today to Achim Dunnwald, Chief Transformation & Strategy Officer, in regard to the meeting which took place on Thursday, 20th February with Royal Mail Group (RMG).

The meeting was called to discuss a resolution to the current dispute, however it became obvious during the course of the meeting that RMG’s intentions were far from honourable. RMG clearly called the meeting to present a proposal to the CWU negotiators whilst at the same time communicating it to all CWU graded employees. Seeking to disrespect the CWU national negotiators in this way speaks volumes about the current RMG leadership.

I believe that the attached letter is self-explanatory and makes it clear that the 2020 pay award is not part of our current dispute.

Any enquiries in relation to the content of this LTB should be addressed to the DGS(P) Department.

Yours sincerely,

Terry Pullinger

Deputy General Secretary (Postal)

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

It would appear, that the way forward in politics and business is to shy away from the truth, put a spin on everything, and bypass the electorate and workers, Boris won an election that way and Royal Mail by their very own actions in this dispute mirror the Tory way, hope the public and the shareholders see through this sham!!
