Hello,
Does anyone have a copy of the presentation that the planners show at the start of the revision, which includes slides on what needs to happen (eg OH referral number) for people who have a disability/family-friendly as part of the revision process?
Or a copy of the revision process for setting aside duties?
thanks :-)

Re: Revision Guide for setting aside duties
Am not aware of any duties being set aside for family friendly. That is only actioned if the business can accommodate such a request within normal duty structures.
If an individual has a disability, an appropriate existing duty , or made up is then ring fenced to accommodate the characteristics of that disability
Ring fencing any duty is a serious No no for planners and they will avoid at all costs being a cost negative
To be fair, you need a rep fully qualified with protected characteristics to negotiate this one and an understanding of the Equality Act 2010

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
