Yeovil Structural revision has deployed on time and new dedicated parcel routes are a great success.
We deployed our structural revision in Yeovil on the 25th October removing 10 delivery routes and introducing dedicated parcel routes to remove large parcels from the town deliveries.
A new large parcel sortation area was introduced and we had a visit from Adam Lillie ( Deployment lead ) who helped train all the parcel drivers on the PDA changes.
This is a major change for the unit which has really improved the working environment removing the 10 delivery frames providing the team with more space and natural light.
Training has been our major focus in week 1 with new IPS frames and sortation aids but the team have really got involved in the change process and we continue to make changes from the daily feedback we are receiving.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Go Team Yeovil!
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

No one in our DO has any training on anything what so ever. The 3 parcel duties introduced I guess are a success because they're about the only thing being completed on a daily basis. It's a complete f**k up but whatever looks good for he shareholders I guess.

Well done TEAM!
A massive success.
Our shareholders will be happy to see our revisions are going through as planned.
