Revision

So currently have a botched revision going on in our unit where we don’t have any input and with no unit rep and no idea of what the criteria even is (whispers of preferential treatment based on religion). On top of this staggered start times that came in during Covid appear to be remaining in place despite social distancing no longer being required. Some parts have been implemented already (80%) yet I assumed a revision would have to be tabled and then voted through? Any thoughts from anyone would be appreciated.

This has happened in so many offices, union are you happy that this has put the staff under unbearable pressure not just now and then but every single day now ?? . Knowing that this could have been avoided and the union agreed to all this . Shareholders beware , its a mess and a disgrace .

Ours being rushed through as well, no input from staff, no resign, duties picked by manager on suitability, going live very soon.

Well for a start, those "whispers" about preferential religious treatment are nasty racist bullshit that you need to ignore, or even report.

You have no frame of reference of whether it’s bs or not I don’t necessarily agree with it but I can see how the conclusion has been drawn.

It is illegal to discrimate on such grounds, an NO manager or Rep would allow it.

We don’t have a rep and doing a revision in a clandestine way is going to lead to rumours like this, a revision should lead to equality and if it doesn’t all avenues should be questioned.

And I’m suggesting transparency would quell these things, the Royal Mail culture has a habit of bending the law let’s not forget.

Most of our walks have been put back on the frame to how they was before, sadly the mail comes with the new sequence It’s a nightmare to chuck in, we have 3 unachievable walks that go out 3 in a van, 2 full timers & a reserve & they still sometimes bring loops back! What a total clusterf**k
