South Croydon & Thornton Heath on the Structural revision deployments
At great expense I can now extract the text so you can now read what is said, you lucky people!
Okay, my name is James Bourke I'm the delivery office manager for south croydon and thornton heath from the thirteenth of september this year.
We've successfully deployed two revisions, being south croydon and thornton heath, the way we've achieved this is through a strong planning team having regular engagement with our delivery staff at every step and good engagement with our line managers and our c w u representatives.
So how we've achieved this is a sort of daily meetings with our c w u colleagues going through the u r c. process and at every point, sitting down together and looking at what what we need to achieve and how do we achieve that, uh getting the agreement on that, and then moving on with the next steps.
I'm Gracer Nwobi I am a deployment manager working on the south croydon and Thornton Heath provision I was in charge of working on the floor plans, the frame labeling, and the overheads, these were looked at with the cwu reps and the posties to ensure that they were worked on to a high standard and they were all agreed on pre deployment.
the old floor plan is not a true reflection of the current state, and i was responsible for ensuring that the new floor plan reflects the current state.
Hi, my name is mark Cutts, and I am the delivery route management champion for south croydon.
Part of the process was to engage with all members of staff on a one to one basis, and then from there, we're given all up to date information so we could capture that and put this into group manager so that everything was up to date.
One of my tasks was to build a relationship with the local council so that we could capture all new due to developments so we could input this information into geo route and the route manager.
Gracer Nwobi
On the day of deployment, myself and fellow delivery managers and deployment managers also worked on the changes that we have sat through with the delivery staff to implement them correctly for the day that we go live.

As an office, we felt this doing this journey together was important so they really made it feel like it was our vision, not just a business revision
keeping everyone engaged and we've seen that through morales still being high after a deployed revision, stopping everyone's sort of nerves beforehand, sort of getting those answers so when we did go live, everyone was working together, understanding what was needed to be done as well as, working through the minor issues that have finally crop

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
