Depends if you want this vote to end up like the last one. If you want to say as please and give the business the chance to declare this vote null and void and sell 110 000 people up the river then please continue, but remember we can all see social media posts and everyone would be able to see where it was lost if it came to it.

The crux of the matter from a legal perspective for the particular piece of legislation that was relied upon by RM is whether or not a frenzy was stirred up in the workplace.

The legislation wants that not to be the case, hence the requirement for the ballot to be completed outside of the workplace.

Giving his ruling in London, the judge said there was "improper interference" by the union with a strike ballot.

He said members had been encouraged to remove their voting papers from work before they were delivered to their home addresses.

Ergo it wasn't the Social Media Post, by ordinary members that the Judge ruled against - It was the Union and its officials allegedly suggesting people divert their letters and vote in the workplace and post it online. It was the hint of official coercion that got the ballot struck down.

Its only the same as we don't tolerate bullying sexism racism unless you happen to be a royal mail manager and then everything gets swept under the carpet about all these issues. Not that I can complain about it other than I would be fired sign this that watch this don't change ingrained attitudes of some of the managers . Not having a go at everyone but it is endemic in society and I guess it carries over into RM Management and they don't do nothing about as it suits them and their objectives in subjecting a workforce to a constant degradation of their humanity for a days pay!
