The strike will probably not be required now; the country will be on lockdown by that point.

Even if he does he still will be a shareholder and I doubt he will lose his job the most important thing is here is our terms and conditions and the trust which as been broken by Royal Mail because of the abrogation of the last pay deal, Here is the crux of the matter he was bought in too smash the union and us all at the same time but political events and the COVID-19 have interrupted his plans and that of many of us all but his objectives have not changed nor will they he has invested lots of his own money to achieve his ambitions by subjugating us all, Like he did with the European arm GLS google it with his name and look at our fate we don't live in mansions or cannot retire in comfort but I am sure as hell not going to be worked to death by him or his ilk seen enough of them now and can smell the rats from a 1000 yard's!daveyeff wrote:hopefully if we win Rico will lose his job.

Define "win".daveyeff wrote:hopefully if we win Rico will lose his job.
If we "lose" does Terry lose his job?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Would we be talking about strikes if someone abided by agreements the last time Germans did not abide by agreements resulted in WW2 and I would say it too his face!

One of the easiest ways to lose an argument is to head off on ridiculous tangents.k979aaa wrote:Would we be talking about strikes if someone abided by agreements the last time Germans did not abide by agreements resulted in WW2 and I would say it too his face!
Rico's nationality is irrelevant, so is his tax status. We are where we are because of the management strategy of the company.

The business is not in the position it was when Moya was in charge. You might as well argue for the same terms as when Alan Leighton was in charge.daveyeff wrote:get the terms we agreed on when moya was in chargeclashcityrocker wrote:Define "win".daveyeff wrote:hopefully if we win Rico will lose his job.

Thinking the four pillars will be reinstated is pie in the sky.

Breaking agreements is not a good start and can and will be the failure of them and their autocracy in any event have voted FOR strike action will look forward to the declaration!Woody Guthrie wrote:

Allan Leighton's reign ended 13 years ago, moya's is very recently. As pullinger said the ink on the agreement was barely dry before this bloke came in and pulled it all apart and "unagreed" the agreement. If the business is not in the position it was when moya was in charge it is of his making. I think we will get our agreement reinstatedWoody Guthrie wrote:

Ever since Rico came in all thats happened is that Royal Mail's profits have halved and our shares have nosedived faster than a Junkers 87 (parden the pun)
Surely as CEO of our management strategy he is somewhat partly to blame??

On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.
