Bring it back or don't take it out tell your manager you cannot do it in the time allowed.
But if they get their way it'll then be " But such and such can do it in the time , why can't you ? Shall we talk about non culpable efficiency and when you will be leaving the business ? "
Just tell them to show you how it's done by walking the walk not talk talk as that's all most managers can do on delivery.

The most depressing aspect of reading that is the possible retention of the 6 day USO, the business must be currently haemorrhaging money as a result of this and it makes no sense at all for it to continue in it's current form.

As long as any job losses from a reduction in the USO are on a VR basis then I see no problem at all, and I suspect RM would be overwhelmed with applicants.

I wouldn’t worry too much about that point, the business has made it clear elsewhere that they want a five day letter service. Recently there was even a RmTV update from some high up manager saying it.
Maybe what the union are saying means 6 days for parcels? I just can’t see a way that we will continue delivering 6 days a week letters it makes no sense.

I still think that there'll be a very limited Sunday delivery service, maybe Tracked only. I believe that most other couriers offer Sunday delivery

There will have to be. The LAT runs will almost certainly be 7 days a week.

I think in the negotiations the business are saying they are favourable to the retention of the 6 day USO knowing full well Ofcom will recommend the end of it.
It is a bit like Pullinger saying we will embrace change and then 600 disagreements going in.

They all speak with forked tongue as people used to say in old cowboy films.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Well well what a surprise. The Union 'played' again, don't they ever learn. Now talking about another WAR, I bet RM are shitting themselves as the Union either bollix it up or bottle it. Union heads got all excited about new management and talks going well and having a deal in no time and where do we end up once ballot expires and covid 19 means any action now will be frowned on. Tell you the main thing Union will be getting all frenzied about and it's the threat to reps.. sick of voting for action, giving em a massive mandate and ....nothing. seems like we are constantly rowing backwards..
