Whats the f*** is going on ?
Surely this coming week there has to be a meaningful update with details of what’s happening?! Not a 20 minute video if Terry talking s**t and saying nothing but a proper update like:
1. How are we going to deal with Christmas with the mad levels of parcels expected and the lack of shared vans?
2. Where’s our pay rise?
3. What’s the crack with the 2 hours owed off the shorter working week?
4. How are we expected to start collecting parcels on top of the horrendous workload we already have?
5. Clearly one day off the USO for letters is getting dumped so how are things going to be restructured after that?
6. What’s happening with holiday pay owed?
7. When are managers going to be stoppped bullying and harassing hard working staff who are doing their best?
8. Are terry and Dave going to come out their basements and visit some delivery offices to see the absolute hellscape we have been working in?
This was all meant to be sorted by the end of July wtf have they been doing all this time?

Don't be too quick to jump on the Union as RM aren't exactly giving any detail about any changes. The new currier is full of piss and wind and is just a repeat of the last 5 issues with still no detail on how you are going to be working.
My theory is that RM are desperate to make cuts to boost profit but can't because of the workload, the lack of real investment since privatisation is now more obvious than ever, most of the profits/dividends have been carved up between the fat cats.

Royal mail are not compelled to tell us anything, it's their game and their ball.
Collectively we pay the union millions on the presumption that they will be our player in the game and for that at the very least we deserve to know the score.
Are we hanging on to a no score draw in injury time or are we 5-0 down with another 45 minutes to play?

We are probably 7-0 down with 90 minutes on the clock, and Terry has just been sent to the stands for bringing the game into disrepute on the touchline.Woody Guthrie wrote:And I thought that would be obvious.Phantom wrote:Woody Guthrie wrote:Royal Mail are my employer.Don't be too quick to jump on the Union as RM aren't exactly giving any detail about any changes.

The CWU specifically asked members to post videos of themselves casting their vote at work on their website to encourage a higher turnout and yes vote.
It was a part of the union campaign. That is why the ballot was declared invalid, not because members recorded themselves but because it was organised by the union and that's the unlawful part.

Yep and to this day the union have failed to hold their hands up and acknowledge this, because they are a bunch of spineless cowards who can’t take any sort of criticism.Woody Guthrie wrote:What is it you're not getting?Post69 wrote:Yeah in this lovely world of social media its always someone else's fault nobody takes responsibility for anything they do!Woody Guthrie wrote:That "stupid social media site" was the official CWU Facebook page.Post69 wrote:He never f#$*ed up we the members did that all by ourselves by posting stupid video on stupid social media sites

Don’t like looking back and holding post mortems
But posting photos on Facebook was a major disaster
Our union should have realised this
We have lawyers who would have advised against this
So our leaders must have made incredible mistake in encouraging this
We had over 80% union vote and over90% vote in favour
Somehow we f*cked up
No one has held up hands and admitted it
So I’m blaming terry
Guys a complete Narcissistic fool who is incapable of leading our great union
Lions lead by donkeys indeed

We desperately need a fresh approach. If he comes out with more drivel this week I will be calling him out to resign in the comments during the Facebook live Q&A. We need action now before it’s too late and members stop their subs! RM are pressing ahead with their plans - collections on doorsteps when we are failing our walks?! And the union just roll over???

I stopped mine late last year, and I was raked over the coals for doing so on this web forum. Now I feel vindicated for quitting the CWU.Jpro747 wrote:We need action now before it’s too late and members stop their subs!

If a strike is as damaging as Terry thinks it is I would suggest a work to rule ballot should be issued. I doubt a court could over turn that and it would have the same effect. Either way this can’t go on.
