No there will only be a vote on a deal or a strike take your pick.Woody Guthrie wrote:None of that was what I meantSpacePhoenix wrote:It'll basically be DO staff who vote it in or out. They outnumber us in MCs 2:1 it might even be 3:1 nowk979aaa wrote:You will get a vote with a recommendation but as most will just go with anything anyone tells them to do as it is the deal of the millennium they will vote for it. Most people cannot be bothered to read it or do something about it and the ones that do will be trouble makers seen it all before five times over!Woody Guthrie wrote:How will the workers decide?bowie wrote:Won’t be another ballot lol,the workers will decide that simple, and I will back the union until I die simple
The original post seems to suggest that the workers will decide whether there's another ballot or not.
I'm interested to find out how.

No chance of another ballot,to go out on strike in the middle of a pandemic with hundreds of thousands of people loosing their jobs would be a massive PR disaster, and both RM and Union know it

If we ballot for industrial action Royal mail wouldn't have to try hard at all when they run to the court's to stop that going ahead and it would firmly make us look like a bunch of twats (again)

Depends on the terms of why we feel the need to go to industrial action executive action by management or Change of contracts or other but nothing is ever off the table!Post69 wrote:If we ballot for industrial action Royal mail wouldn't have to try hard at all when they run to the court's to stop that going ahead and it would firmly make us look like a bunch of twats (again)
