Holiday pay question

Post by eastie »

With some people getting backpay of holiday pay due to O/T and others missing out like me for various reasons and getting nothing at all, even though I was doing O/T each week.
Question I am asking is what happens now going foward with holiday pay in the future. Is it going to be changed to average earnings or is it going to be this unfair system in the future.

This is how it is going forward, unless a way can be found to renegotiate, which I very much doubt.
At least from now you know the dates and qualifying periods in advance, and can at least try and work any holidays and overtime out to suit the dates so you don't miss out.
Just don't have the bad grace to go sick when you need to.

This is the system unless those with existing claims plus those with new claims based on what they don’t get paid each and every 6 months force a change through the Tribunal.
