ELECTION OF POL AREA REPRESENTATIVES AND POL DEPUTY AREA REPRESENTATIVES

Further to LTB 177/12, dated 12th March 2012, which advised Branches of the results of the nominations called for POL Area Representatives, there will be a ballot in the following areas:

Area 14 John Batt, North/North West London
Garrie Bond, Romford Amalgamated

Area 16 Huw Davies, London North Western C&C
Robert Leggatt, SE London Postal & Counter

Area 20 Simon Johnson, North/North West London
Clive Tickner, London 7

The timetable for the elections is as follows:

Despatch of ballot papers: 22nd March 2012
Ballot closes 10th April 2012 (14.00)


POL Deputy Area Representative

At the same time as running the above ballot we are also inviting nominations for the vacant Deputy Area Representative roles. The timetable for nominations will run in conjunction with the AR election timetable above. If ballots are required then a further timetable will be published.

The areas vacant for Deputy Area Representative are:

Area 3
Area 6
Area 8
Area 10
Area 14
Area 15

Nomination forms are attached to this LTB, or are available on request from the Senior Deputy General Secretary’s Department. All candidates must have the nomination of their own branch and completed nomination forms, which must be signed by the Branch Secretary and Branch Chair (or accredited deputies) and the nominee.
