LTB 490/22 – Post Office: Pay Dispute 2021/22 & 2022/23 – Notice Served for Strike Action (Crowns) on Christmas Eve
No. 490/2022
9th December 2022
Dear Colleagues
POST OFFICE: PAY DISPUTE 2021/22 & 2022/23 – NOTICE SERVED FOR STRIKE ACTION (CROWNS) ON CHRISTMAS EVE
Branches are advised the Postal Executive has endorsed further action and as a result we have today served notice to Post Office for the following Strike Action:
Crowns – Saturday 24th December from 07.00 until 18.00
In respect of the previously notified Action Short of a Strike for Crown Office members – specifically a Sales Boycott (as communicated to Branches via LTB 475/22), there has been an exchange of letters with Post Office which centred on what a Sales Boycott entailed. The attached correspondence helps to define what we are asking our members to do from Wednesday 14th to Friday 23rd December inclusive. If members are in any doubt, they are advised to speak to their Representative.
Further developments will be reported.
Yours sincerely
Andy Furey
Acting Deputy General Secretary (Postal)

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
