Richard Arnold charged in Rough Common post office fraud probe

A man has been charged by police investigating alleged fraud at a village post office.

Richard Arnold, 53, of The Downings in Herne Bay, was arrested in April, just weeks after the post office counter at Rough Common Stores shut.

It is alleged he committed fraud by abuse of position and stole from his employer.

The offences are said to have happened between September and December last year.

Arnold has been bailed to appear at Margate Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, August 15.
