MALTON Post Office is closed today (Friday)
A spokesperson said: "I can confirm that we closed today to do a deep clean as we are awaiting a Covid PCR test result for a member of staff.
"We will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so as our priority is the safety of our staff & customers.
"We have managed to stay open throughout the pandemic and it is very disappointing that we were forced to close today."
An update will be given when the Post Office is able to open.
