Hello,
Sorry if this has been asked before, I have looked but am new to the site and have not found anything.
I want to avoid going to a post office due to the current situation, so I printed a label at home for Tracked 48. Now I have printed it, the website says my options include dropping at a postbox, which is what I want to do.
It then says:
"Drop your item off in a Postbox or one of our new Parcel Postboxes(1)
(1) If you’re not using a Tracked or Signature service and you don’t require a proof of postage"
Does this message refer to the parcel postbox only? So can I still post into a regular postbox or will tracking not work? If tracking will not work, will my parcel still be delivered?

If you put the item in a post box or parcel box there will be no "acceptance scan" which you would receive at a Post Office.
It should still get scanned at every other applicable point. (especially when delivered)
Alternatively you can book a collection (for a small fee) which will be scanned when it is collected.

Thank you for your response. So it will still be delivered and I should still be able to track when the delivery has happened? (The tracking is for our benefit to see it has arrived, not the recipient).

Yes it will still be scanned on delivery and that information will be available via Track and Trace.
