I am using international tracked to ship orders from the UK to France. I understand the following:
Goods under 22 Euros are not subject to VAT or duties at customs.
Goods over 22 Euros are subject to VAT at customs.
Goods over 150 will be subject to both VAT and Duties.
Should I be charging VAT or not? I am registered for VAT in the UK and France.
For now, I plan to only ship goods under 22 Euros due to some customers reporting over the top charges by customs which we will have to refund thus making a loss on the sale.
