Sorry but that's not even a week old, there are still delays because of COVID but there are starting to ease.
PS. Please don't forget we are NOT an official Royal Mail site.

I was more worried about the horror story’s I’ve been reading about parcels getting stuck in Langley , for weeks , international signed for on the website promises 3-5 day delivery, i know this sounds a bit fast in reality
Just wanted to know that it’s till on the move and not stuck in some box hiding away
Anyway thanks for your reply and have a nice rest of the week :)

It isn’t a promise of delivery in 3-5 days, it’s an aim. And that takes no account of Covid-related delays.
“Horror stories ... about Langley” would relate to customs, which only applies to items entering the UK. The only reason for an outbound parcel to get stuck there is because the contents contravene the Dangerous Goods Act or Finnish customs rules, which a Royal Mail will do a basic check on. What did you send?

Hi there
I sent originally a hand held games console to get fixed to Northern Ireland from Finland ( I live in finland) it got to the repair guys , he then sent it back to me in finland , and it’s stuck at Langley , I followed the journey there on my postal service I used ,4 days including a weekend ,it’s just the journey back home (to finland) that’s taking a bit longer then expected

Finland ban lithium batteries from the mail. These are the type of batteries that are used to power mobile phones, tablets and laptop computers. What batteries have you got in your console?

Finland’s rules say as long as a lithium battery inside of a device they they are ok to post , and I’ve been buying lithium battery’s quite often and getting them sent to me , lithium batteries are not the issue ,

According to the Royal Mail Finland page, lithium batteries are banned. Click ‘Prohibitions’ on this page:
https://www.royalmail.com/finland" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It is common for countries to have different rules for internal and overseas mail when it comes to lithium batteries: the UK certainly does.
If RM spot a parcel containing something they believe to be banned in the receiving country then they will return to the sender, in this case the repairer.

Like I said , ll-ion batteries can be sent , only last week I had some sent to me
And when they are inside a device it’s ok , for example , I bought batteries from eBay uk and they got to me
I bought the games console from eBay uk and it was sent to me
The batteries are not the problem and the repairer has not revived any information saying it’s getting sent back to him

And the fact that it says “leaving uk” seems to me it has got past the customs section

Sorry, your perception is incorrect. Customs don't scan items so they get "leaving the UK" scan at the last point within Royal Mail - just as it enters customs.
As to the lithium battery, it may be allowed but if they suspect one, then they have to carry out more stringent checks. Hopefully, there will be no problem beyond a delay in customs.
Also,I hope you have a nice day as well.
