Hi... I have sent 4 parcels to Boston Massachusetts and they have not been delivered.
The last one, I remembered to have tracked and it landed in New York ,it got no further.
On enquiry at my post office the assistant told me that two other customers had the same
problem with tracking to New York and then getting no further. Has anyone else had the same
non-delivery from New York ?

Try the tracking numbers on both of these:

My gut feeling is that the items are stuck in US customs

Same here - for some reason its a constant refrain on here - they get to the US okay but seem to get stuck in the USPS system at customs for some time. Eventually most do seem to arrive albeit a few weeks late.
To be fair we seem to have the same problem in reverse coming through our version of their facility in New York as well. Customs seem to very active at the moment.

Did you send it via Airsure?
Airsure to America is an outright lie, it isn't tracked past landing.
Once it's landed, USPS treats it as normal mail, so it just shows as arriving at JFK - file a claim if it is airsure, you're basically guaranteed compensation if you can provide the required evidence.
